Team UP! Explore the Science of Sports

Children and families alike can utilize interactive displays focused on the science involved in becoming a winning athlete. Museum-goers can test their skill sets and witness science at work in various sports, including basketball, football, baseball, tennis, and soccer as well as extreme sports such as snowboarding. Participants will be intrigued with the principles of geometry, physics, force and friction relative to their favorite sports.

Art Gallery

The Gallery showcases works from local artisans and is also where lunch is hosted Monday through Friday. The Gallery consists of its own bar surrounded by nine glass tables; all with a view of the art. There is also a seating area in the window that is excellent for sipping coffee and watching the world outside. The Gallery features art from the following local artists: Edie Biddel, Jan Fleetwood-Porter, Michel McNinch, Bonnie Goldberg, Ingrid Carson, Jennie Brenham, Marcia Murry, Betty Mandel, Bob Lancaster.
